- There are actresses, and then there are Woody Allen
- actresses, like Mia Farrow and Diane Keaton, who helped
- personify his offbeat movies and deadpan view of life. But that
- outlook may be shifting with his latest project, a 1920s comedy
- being shot entirely in black and white. Among Allen's stars is
- none other than MADONNA, who plays a voluptuous circus artist
- in the film Shadows and Fog. But she won't have the screen to
- herself: it will still feature Farrow, JOHN MALKOVICH and
- Allen, who says, "I play an ink-stained wretch."
